The shelf life is roughly 180 days. The expiration date is printed on the shoulder of the bottle or the bottom of the can. The expiration date is the first four or five printed numbers. The first number is the last digit of the year the beer was brewed; the subsequent three or four numbers reference the month and day of that year. For example, 6907 = September 7, 2016.
